“Lovely 5 star Hotel with Great Service! I can't fault it.The only issue was the lighting in the room 2209 with a pool.As soon as my friend plugged in her extension adapter from the UK,the lights in the room started flashing uncontrollably.We had to call Maintenance,who came out 3 times to sort it.I hope they get it fixed permanently.Other than that,no concerns.”

“Very disappointing experience. We arrived in Crete with a booking made through Lastminute for Creta Royal: 3 rooms for 6 people (from 16 To 23 may 26). However, upon arrival, the hotel could not find any reservation under our name. After checking, they found a booking at the hotel next door, Creta Star, which is a 4-star hotel instead of the 5-star hotel we had originally chosen. This was not at all the hotel we booked or expected. At reception, no real solution was offered despite our clear disappointment. Since both hotels belong to the same group, we really expected them to make an effort or at least try to find an acceptable solution for us. Instead, we were simply told that the only solution had to come from Lastminute and that the hotel could do nothing. We honestly felt like we were being taken for fools. We are extremely disappointed. Nothing was done by the hotel to try to resolve the situation or offer us an alternative that matched what we had actually booked.”

“Creta Royal is a quiet and beautiful place, perfect if you’re looking for peace and relaxation. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is very good. The resort has a lovely atmosphere and is well-maintained, with direct access to the beach and nice swimming pools. That said, it’s more suited to older couples or those seeking a calm holiday. For younger people or anyone looking for lively entertainment, it might not be the best choice. There’s no music, no organized activities, and little to do besides enjoying the beach, the pools, or sitting at the bar. It’s also located quite far from the nearest city and nightlife, so you’d need transport if you want more action in the evenings. If your idea of a perfect holiday is unwinding in a quiet, scenic spot with good food and friendly service, Creta Royal delivers beautifully. But if you’re after excitement and lots of things to do, you may want to look elsewhere.”

“I had a truly lovely experience at the hotel. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the beautifully designed rooms made it easy to relax and enjoy my stay. The beach was clean, peaceful, and just steps away ideal for unwinding. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was warm, friendly, and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made the whole trip even more enjoyable.
